Visual Arts Program

We make visual art works to record what we see and what we know, to explore our imagination, express what we feel and for the pleasure and fun of creating and making.

All children receive a one hour art lesson each week. They explore and experiment with a variety of tools and media within the seven areas of art; drawing, painting, printing collage, modelling, construction and threads and textiles.

The children will have the opportunity to exhibit their work throughout the school, at our annual Art Show and at various community events.

Art appreciation of their own, peer and adult art works is an important part of the program.

Our visual art works are all unique because we see, feel, think and respond in our own way.
